Physicians

Manage physician records and credentials

Physicians represent the healthcare providers who order and perform services. They are referenced when creating treatments, prior authorizations, and eligibility checks.

Viewing physicians

Navigate to Physicians from the main menu to see all physicians in a searchable list.

Table columns

Column	Description
Name	Physician's full name
NPI Number	National Provider Identifier
Specialty	Medical specialty
Actions	Edit button

Search

Use the search bar to find physicians by name, NPI number, or specialty.

Filtering

• Specialty — filter by a specific medical specialty

Sorting

Sort by name, NPI number, or specialty — in ascending or descending order.

Grouping

Optionally group physicians by specialty for an organized view.

Creating a physician

1. Click the Add Physician button.

2. Fill in the physician details:

Field	Required	Description
First Name	Yes	Physician's first name
Last Name	Yes	Physician's last name
NPI Number	Yes	10-digit National Provider Identifier
Specialty	Yes	Medical specialty (e.g., Retinal Specialist, Ophthalmologist)
Phone	No	Contact phone number
Email	No	Contact email address

1. Click Save Physician.

Editing a physician

1. Click the Edit button on any physician in the list.

2. Update the desired fields.

3. Click Save Changes.

Deleting a physician

1. Open the edit page for the physician.

2. Click the Delete button.

3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Deleting a physician cannot be undone.
